Care Package to Our Ella

We decided to send a care package to Ella because we didnt want her to forget she had a family waiting for her and I wanted to see if we could get some more information. We used "Giftstochinawithlove.com" which is a great business. They also made it possible for us to send Ella her birthday cake and presents so she could celebrate. Sheri and Katherine are wonderful and I am thankful for them. We were able to send a letter with the package and we asked some questions and we got some responses. We are soooooo soooooo excited and very ready.

Yay....finally a blog for our Journey to Ella

Just to start...I am kind of doing this all backwards. We are at the end of our adoption waiting...and almost at the beginning of the rest of our lives as a family of 5. We started this process with adopting from China last Christmas. I knew this would be a rollercoaster of a ride....but never anticipated how high the highs would be and and how painful and hard the lows would be. It has been a long journey and its hard to believe we are nearing the end and will soon hold our Ella in our arms. We are hoping to receive our article 5 at the end of this week and then the final wait of travel approval. So I have a little time to build this blog and put in some of the milestones of our journey to making Ella an Orphan no more!!! With doing that I have Thanksgiving and Christmas to prepare for, school with my boys and their sports (right now its soccer, hockey and their speed and agility training), packing, preparing for our addition, getting ready for a huge transformation in our family business....And just everyday busy life....I will do my best to bring this blog up to speed.
