Today we celebrate the addition of our daughter.......

Today we are having a big party to indroduce our daughter to our family and friends. We have about 120 people coming and it should be a great time. We are still amazed at her and how seamless the transition has gone....I hope I didnt jink us!! :) Ella is the happiest little girl and that makes Ed and I the happiest mommy and daddy. She is learning new words each day as well as new dance moves....this little girl loves to move!! Evan taught her how to play air hockey and light brite the other night...she just loves him. Edward continues to be smitten with her as well. She attracts attention where ever we go because she is just so darn cute. At Evans music concert the other night, she was mesmerized by the kids on stage and the music....I guess music has no barriers!!

As we prepare for a wonderful celebration we continue to be thankful to this gift the we have been given. She truly is miraculous!!

One month later photo!

One month has gone by....

Wow! Can't believe it's been a month since my precious daughter was laid in my arms! This month has been busy and at times chaotic, but filled with so much joy and love! Ella has made such a seamless transition to the Radley family! She is so happy and smiles all the time! She is learning so fast and is comprehending so so much! School is headed in the right direction! The school has been so so supportive! Edward and Evan have taken to being big brothers to their little sister! Ed is getting used to all of this girly stuff in the house and is so smitten with Miss Ella!!
We have had so much support from our family, friends and community! We are truly thankful and we know that the lord has blessed us!

School is exhausting!

Lunch at school!

First day at school

Ella and I went to school again today! We had stopped by yesterday and ended up staying for 2 hours. They were so welcoming and the principal actually is an adoptive father of two...,,so he gets it!! Ella's teacher is so warm and understanding! So that was yesterday! Today we went back at lunch time...and recess! She did fabulous! I even left the room a few times! The kids are so curious about her and excited! She had two meltdowns....because she had to potty and I wasn't there to tell them that's what she needed! But that's why I'm going with her....overall she did great! We will go back tomorrow and see how she does! So excited to watch her blossom!! <3

First day in school....

Well today our lives should be able to return to some sort of normalcy...kids gfi back to school!  Ella will be with mommy and we will go visit Ella's new school!  We arent sure of when she will start and how she will do!  She is quite attached to me!  I am hoping the school will see the whole picture that she has had her world uprooted and she isn't just a child who is attached to her mom.  She had a crying fit with Ed Saturday night when I ran to the store real quick!  It makes me sad to think of the anxiety she must have!  Ed was frustrated that he couldn't soothe her!  All of these adjustments are difficult!  But with that being said....she is doing fabulous! She is happy and thriving!

My pretty girl!
