My now 2nd grader!!
CAN YOU BELIEVE IT...ELLA HAS COMPLETED 1ST GRADE!!!!!!! It just doesn't seem possible! She is one amazing kid that just brings so much joy and love to us.
Ella had her first dance recital this year...and she LOVES to dance. I have no doubt there will be more recitals in our future. She still enjoys dressing up and looking pretty! (Momma loves this!!!)
She has daddy wrapped around her finger. I have been traveling quite a bit for big brothers soccer, so Ella has spent a lot of time with daddy! She now says he is her boyfriend and she is going to marry him! <3
In school Ella continues to make gains. She is having difficulty with getting her sentences out in proper form! She may say "I drink, can I have?" They say that children that have mastered a first language have an easier time with a second! Ella at 5... Didn't speak a first language. So I am happy with her progress and I believe in time she will catch up! She is a perfectionist and hates to not know or to make a mistake...but we have made gains and she is starting to take more chances!!
Next month, we are moving to North Carolina permanently. I am a little nervous because Ella has had great support in her current school and I know NC isn't going to be able to match that support. We will obviously continue to advocate for her and get her what she needs to be successful. Please keep her in your prayers when school rolls around.
Right now though...we are gearing up to enjoy some summer. Ella loves the beach and loves to swim in the pool! We continue to be blessed with so many great things in our lives.
