Welcome Springtime....

Its starting to warm up here in Maine....slowly but surely!! I am excited for the kids to be able to spread their wings and be outside more! The last few days we have been out playing in the driveway (because there is still a good foot of snow in the yard!!) and Miss Ella just loves to play with the chalk and ride her scooter.
Ella is making huge strides in school. She now waves and says goodbye to me without a care in the world. She loves to go to school and we are so blessed with all the wonderful kids and staff at Blue Point. Ellas' teacher will be out on leave for two weeks and I am a bit nervous because she has taken so well to Mrs Douglas....please pray that Ella does well with the substitute. I know they will do everything to make it easy on her.
Many of you know how much our boys love soccer and how very much a soccer family we are!! Well Ella has joined in. She absolutely loves soccer....she is always saying "Ella soccer, Ella soccer". We got her a pink soccer ball and she loves to kick it around with her little New England revolution jersey on. I think before we know it she will be on the field playing on a team!! Momma still wants a little gymnast though too!! :)
We took Ella to the ENT doctor yesterday and her tonsils are really big and they sent us for a sleep study. I was hoping they would just take them out since our peditrician said they were SO big...but I guess we have to jump through some silly hoops first.
We sent off the orphanage donation to our agency last week and lets hope the orphanage receives it soon. From our family and friends we raised just under $1000 and that will definately go a long way in China. We are hoping that they will stick to their word and send us some pictures that we can share. We THANK all of you that help raising the money.....:)
For now I will sign off....my after school routine begins....3 kids in three different schools keeps me hopping!!

xoxo

  1. We were out in short sleeves yesterday and then today it snowed most of the day but will be warm again tomorrow. You understand.

Congratulations on your fundraising efforts-that's terrific!

I'm surprised Ella needs her tonsils out; that's pretty rare these days. Hope the "hoops" are limited.
