So with Miss Ella on my mind today...I was just thinking back to when this little beauty captured our hearts! Back in April Ed and I had just returned from Mexico celebrating our 15th wedding anniversary when we got an email from Lifeline with two little orphans they called Jill and Janie! We immediately responded that we were interested in Janie! The picture of her in the pink sweater is the first we saw! (now you understand how we fell in love so quickly!). We decided after we reviewed her file that we wanted to move forward! We sent in our letter of intent and sat back waiting anxiously for approval! Well as the whole journey has been...we hit a little snag! We waited for what seemed forever....then finally on the eve of mothers day....we received approval to move forward! It was just the beginning of an emotional journey! Ironically, I just realized that the family picture above was taken for Evans first communion the day before we got notice!! Janie after that was Our Ella! Thought I'd relive that with y'all! ;)
